Yeshua Flooring installs, refinishes and repairs wood floors in Burbank, Glendale and Pasadena homes. One crew, Octavio on site, one bill.
Materials: solid, engineered, bamboo, laminate and luxury vinyl plank.
01Typical timeline: 2 to 4 days after materials arrive
Hardwood installation in Burbank and Glendale
We install solid and engineered hardwood, nailed or glued down, over wood and concrete subfloors. Oak, maple and walnut for living rooms and bedrooms; engineered plank where the slab is concrete or the room sits below grade.
02Typical timeline: most homes done in 3 to 5 days
Refinishing and sanding
Sanding takes a worn floor back to bare wood, then we stain and seal it. Old red oak and white oak come back well; so do most floors with dents, gray patches and dull finish.
03Typical timeline: 1 to 2 days for most rooms
Vinyl plank and laminate installation
Luxury vinyl plank goes in kitchens, baths and rentals where water is a worry. We prep and level the subfloor first, which is where most cheap installs go wrong.
04Typical timeline: 2 to 4 days depending on the room
Tile
We set porcelain and ceramic tile in kitchens, baths and entries. Level substrate, straight grout lines, sealed edges, and a clean transition where tile meets wood.
05Typical timeline: usually finished the same visit as the floor
Moulding and baseboards
New baseboards, shoe moulding and stair nosing, cut on site and finished to match the floor. It is done by the same crew on the same visit, so there is one schedule to keep.
06Typical timeline: most repairs done in a day
Repairs
We replace damaged boards, fix squeaks and gaps, and blend the repair into the floor around it. Water damage, pet stains and sun fade are the common calls.

The owner
Octavio has run Yeshua Flooring for 16 years and is on every job.
He started on hardwood crews in Los Angeles, opened his own shop in Burbank, and still does the sanding himself. When you call the number on this page, he is the one who picks up, and he is the one who shows up.
Straight answers with real ranges. Final numbers come after Octavio sees the floor.
How much does hardwood floor refinishing cost in Los Angeles?
Refinishing typically runs $[4] to $[7] per square foot in Los Angeles, final quote after a site visit. The price moves with the finish you pick, how much repair the floor needs and whether furniture has to be moved. A 900 square foot job usually lands between $[3,600] and $[6,300].
How long does it take to install hardwood floors?
Most hardwood installs take 2 to 4 days once the wood has sat in the house for [3 to 5] days to acclimate. Site-finished solid floors add 2 to 3 days for sanding and sealing. Prefinished and engineered floors can be walked on the same day.
Should I refinish or replace my hardwood floors?
Refinish if the boards still have at least [3/32] of an inch above the tongue and the damage is on the surface. Replace when there is water damage in the subfloor, the floor has been sanded several times already, or you want a different species or plank width. Octavio measures the thickness at the estimate and tells you which.
Do you install luxury vinyl plank?
Yes. We install luxury vinyl plank, click-lock and glue-down, over concrete and wood subfloors. It is the right call for kitchens, baths, rentals and homes with big dogs. Installed, it typically runs $[3] to $[6] per square foot including material.
Can you match my existing hardwood floors?
Usually, yes. We weave new boards into the existing floor, then sand and finish the whole area so the patch disappears. Matching is hardest on older floors with sun fade or a discontinued species, and we tell you up front if it will show.
Do I need to move out during refinishing?
Most families stay home and keep off the floors being worked on for two to three days. Water-based finishes have low odor and are dry to walk on in about a day. Oil-based finishes take longer to cure and smell more, so some people stay elsewhere one night.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. Yeshua Flooring holds CSLB license #[LICENSE] and carries liability insurance. Ask for the certificate and we will send it before the job starts.
What areas do you serve?
Burbank, Glendale, Pasadena, La Cañada, North Hollywood and the rest of Los Angeles. Most of our work is within 15 miles of the shop on N Brighton St in Burbank.
